Back to Work : My Top 5 Made In France
I love back-to-school season !!! The backpack, the ID photos lying around and the brand new tutu tried out in the middle of the living room at night. (Not mine ! My daughter’s of course!).
Despite my age, I took on the habit of buying myself a few gifts for my return to work. And I have to admit, I’ve got this huge obsession with the world of “office-stationery”. So here it is, my top 5 for a promising back-to-work season. Wishing you the best accomplishments in your future projects !
1 : A VERY COLORFUL LAPTOP CASE
Enough with the black suitcases with a shoulder strap, please, we’re in 2017 !!!
If like me, you walk around with your laptop during transportation, meetings or even travel, isn’t it like your second handbag?
It’s time you go for a chic and feminine design by Maison Baluchon. A year ago, I became an absolute fan of their creations and ever since I’ve had this bag, I can’t go a week without people stopping me on the street to ask where I got it from.
The quality is just absolute. It can be held as a backpack which I find very useful. And if I’m being honest, I’m thinking of buying a second one to go with my different outfits.
It is manufactured in Chaumont – Haute Marne. You can discover their latest collection (which I love ! Temptation !!!) here : www.maisonbaluchon.fr
2 : THE NOTEBOOKS AND PENCILS “ LES EDITIONS DU PAON ”
If you’re a girl, you must love notebooks. That’s just the way it is, don’t bother asking why. (Are you a man? Have you heard about these little creations ?!)
If you already own 12 notebooks like I do, you just know you need new one for your very first meeting.
Les Editions du Paon offer you a simple, classy and poetic collection. That’s what it’s all about, isn’t it ? I’m crazy about this “plumo” print. Need I add that it is French handmade ? All these notebooks are printed and stitched in their workshop near Nantes !
3 : THERE IS A AGENDA AND… THERE IS M3 DIARY
Ok it’s only the start of the school year but all you’re dreaming about is a fresh start ! This diary was made for you!
“La procrastination est morte! Vive l’action!” – Goodbye procrastination! Hello new actions!
With these few words, Damien Cozette, the creator of M3 is setting the tone. I know we are many to think about switching careers, having a professional change or moving to a different country. This organizer can be your new partner for the season.
The purpose is simple : you receive this agenda (very classy !) with an introduction booklet. No worries, it’s very easy ! Then it’s up to you to fill in the pages every week. I love the quotes inside. You can plan 3 tasks per day. Awesome for when you’re having a hard time setting your priorities ! Or when you’re all over the place like I always am.
I tried it for a few days and the result was stunning! You receive the satisfaction of an accomplished mission and can focus on your future assignments. Verdict: adopted

4 : THE MUG THAT WILL HAVE EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT YOU !
No need to be attached to the tricolor flag to love this mug. Isn’t it beautiful? I really like the initiative of this young company which offers Limoges porcelain, a region with extraordinary know-how at such an affordable price (19 €). I chose this marine pattern but if you have a look at their website, they have very nice designs. If that’s not enough to make you shine during your coffee break! A collaboration with le Slip Français is coming soon! Panties on your mug, too much? Nan !!! So trendy!

4 : A PIECE OF CHOCOLATE IN THE DRAWER ?
Ever since I discovered La Chocolaterie, and I’m obsessed with it: the chocolate bar made by Cyril Lignac.
The ones with hazelnut inclusions are excellent!
One little problem, the price: 6 euros a bar! At this price you may not want to share it with everyone in the open space! But when we love someone we don’t count. And don’t we love our colleagues ?? 😉 Welcome back !!!
La Chocolaterie Cyril Lignac: 25 rue Chanzy, Paris 11 / 34 rue du Dragon Paris 6 / You can also find them in some Pastries !
