My pretty French Tables #2
A couple months ago, I began receiving messages on Instagram whenever my “stories” smelled like hot chocolate, cinnamon or even beef bourguignon! So I decided to share with you my seasonal recipes and my endless passion for French dinnerware sets.
Here goes my selection for NOVEMBER !!!
Pork Filet Mignon
I had quite a laugh while choosing these “sologne” plates from Gien. I immediately transformed them into “hunting and fishing platters”. But I decided to choose pastoral colors that would go perfectly with this filet mignon and rice. In the end I loved it ! The recipe is pretty easy to make for an “haute cuisine” dish.
Sablés with jam
I just loved this sky blue and white Tea set. It really highlights the finesse of the porcelain at Bernardaud. And if you’d like to have a small Tea Time at home, you will love these sablés with raspberry jam! Go to the website of Cuisine Actuelle to find out more!
Chicken Tajine with Prunes and Almonds
You’ll need to have some time for this recipe, but it’s very easy to make. I admit I was in for a nice surprise as the result was simply amazing! The taste, the spices… It was like in Morocco !
The red tajine is by Emile Henry. You probably already know their pie dishes but you can now find their famous ceramics made in Bourgogne for many more dishes. (loaf pan, pizza, steamm cooking etc…)
An absolute must-try recipe, it’s excellent !
Salmon and Guacamole Glasses
Isn’t it beautiful this little improvised appetizer on a Friday night? I promise your table will be ready in no time! For the recipe, click here !
Dauphinois de Courgettes
The kind of recipe we love to make on weekdays. It’s fast, and you have time to do something else while it slowly cooks in the oven. Not to mention the late-comers stuck in a meeting who will find this hot meal after walking through the door. Bought! (Baking dish Made in France from Appolia and the small floral plate in the top corner is from Gien!)
There you go! A beautiful gourmet month ahead. If you tried the recipes, don’t hesitate to give us your thoughts! And you can also share your favorite French houses on the side. See you in December for a 100% Christmas selection !
