The Chic Bazaar of Ines de la Fressange

She promised us a boutique that has her identity, and I must say she didn’t disappoint! Who wouldn’t be seduced by the chic bazaar of Ines de La Fressange, former Chanel muse with such good taste. So here’s what I got from my visit …
THE PLACE: Rue de Grenelle, in the heart of Saint-Germain. It goes without saying, but when it comes to shopping, this is the place to be! Established in an old foundry, everything was kept the way it was originally in the store. From the glass doors to the parquet floor, up until the dark wood panels and the old style walls.
THE NUMBERED PIECES : Depuis 2 Since 2013, Inès is once again in charge of her own label. Bags, shoes and numbered clothes! I admit I never thought I’d like the idea so much. But offering a jacket that was only made in 10 pieces, makes you want to buy it, doesn’t it ?
THE KEPT PROMISE ! We were told about a chic bazaar, and it doesn’t get better than this! My visit was a true pleasure. A cave of Alibaba where you can take a nice walk. From the 2€ pen to the 490€ boots, from vintage textiles to creams and pottery brought in from abroad, I feel like I have a little of her French class !
HER LAST BOOK : With “Mon Paris”, she lists all her best places in the city. An illustrated notebook decorated with a blue white and red elastic. So Chic !
THE CHILDISH SIDE : Because good taste is everywhere. Here the Bambi soap dispensers became super trendy for a retro look. And the visit cards are made in a “Bon point” style like in school. Don’t you just love it?
